Eddy Current Weld Probes - Standard

We offer a wide range of Eddy Current Testing (ECT) Weld Probes available in a number of different sizes and frequencies, all with minimal lift-off signal. They can detect surface breaking fatigue cracks through 2mm of surface coating material and are therefore less expensive and quicker to use than other techniques.

Key Benefits Include:

  • Broad frequency range.
  • Cables up to 50 meters available.
  • Able to detect cracks through a wide range of coatings.
  • Available in a wide range of diameters.

Bridge Weld Probes offer many Key Features within their specification including:

  • Straight, 90deg Inline, 90deg Right Angle
  • Diameters, 11.0 (Small), 16 (Medium), 32mm (Large)
  • Dis-connectable and integral probe cables
  • Cable lengths from 1.5 to 50 meters
  • Frequency range 100, 20, 100-600kHz
  • Minimal lift off signal, can find cracks through paint, oil and conductive and non-conductive coatings
  • Made from hard wearing PET
  • Stainless steel and ceramic tips available on request

The ETher NDE range of Standard Weld Probes include:

  • Straight
  • 90 Degree Inline
  • 90 Degree Transverse

We are also able to offer:

Disconnectable Weld Probes

We offer full range of Eddy Current (EC) Disconnectable Weld Probes available for quick interchange. All you have to do is simply select “000” to probe part number as shown on weld probe coding system on the downloadable datasheet available here.

6mm Diameter Weld Probes

We are able to offer the Eddy Current (ET) 6mm Diameter Weld Probe with either a straight or 90 degree angled shaft.
